The Chance Meetings Quiz
By Jan Newman with Joyce Hoffspiegel, Ph.D.
How ready are you to meet the man or woman of your dreams? Wouldn't it be fabulous if that person just appeared by your side? Finding love can happen in the most surprising places, but you have to be able to read the signals of the world around you and be open to chance. The more chance meetings you open yourself up to, the more likely you are to find love.
Our quiz will help you discover just how open you are to a chance meeting -- a meeting that could lead to romance. There are 10 questions in both the men's and women's version. After taking the quiz, compare your score with the analysis to see how you rate for romantic chance-taking.
From extensive research we know that "chance" can be created, cultivated, and to some degree "controlled." You have to take the first step in being open to chance. This quiz will tell you if you have some deep-seated feelings or habits that you may need to change in order to let chance into your life. Good luck!
This quiz is based on the findings from the book "Chance Meetings That Tied the Knot: Finding Love When Least Expected," by Jan Newman. The book recounts 24 true stories about people from every imaginable background and circumstance. Each story is a heartwarming example of how one can increase the odds of having a chance meeting with the goal of finding true and enduring love. These stories further illustrate that circumstances, choices and personal awareness are key in producing such a chance meeting. At the core of this book is a new heightened awareness that in our everyday lives, love is waiting.
