What one thing could someone do on a first date that would make you want to scream and run for the hills?


	Sylvia, 37, Kingsville, Texas If he were to get obnoxiously drunk and behaved inappropriately.


	Brocke, 54, Lakeland, Mo. I had a date who was drunk when I picked her up! Then she "fell asleep" (passed out!) on the drive home after dinner. She told me she was nervous and didn't really drink that much. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Later I took her to a BBQ. Guess what? Drunk again. After that I did "run for the hills!" I also run when I'm on a first date and she talks about "us" moving in or getting married. I also want to flee when she dwells on past relationships and her "ex," or tells me about everything wrong in her life. I kind of like to live my life the country way, that is I have little sayings that to remind me of how to act. Most of them are just common sense, "Cowboy Philosophy." As for drinking, my Cowboy Philosophy is, "If you want to have a drink or two, that's all right, but don't wear out your boot soles on a brass bar rail."


	Monica, 27, Orlando, Fla. Someone who is very arrogant or stuck on himself is a real turn off for me. It makes me feel like I'm not important. Usually you can tell about that on a first date, especially if you can't get a word in about yourself.


	Michael, 37, Lockport, N.Y. If she keeps talking about her Ex or brings up how cool she thinks Lorena Bobbitt is. Or she could show up for the first date with a wedding dress on.

	Alexander, 31, Washington, D.C. In no particular order: Say, "I love you;" arrive in a Star Trek uniform (true story); talk about ex-boyfriends, or had blatantly lied in his online profile.


	Wendy, 35, Lawrence, Kan. If he brought his mom along, talked about his ex-girlfriend/wife/fiancée excessively, or talked on the cell phone forever. Any of these or any combination drives me nuts!


	Eric, 26, Orlando, Fla. Talk about previously unmentioned baggage. Also, finding out about previous jail-time is never a good way to "break the ice."


	Tammy, 34, Raleigh, N.C. Talk about themselves the whole time.


	Joshua, 25, North Wales, Pa. I would run for the hills if my date picked her teeth with her fingers or chewed with her mouth open.


	Kathryn, 34, Northville, Mich. Not look like their picture at all! (Hey, it happens!).


	Tim, 41, Springtown, Texas Bad manners are one thing that would send me running. It isn't pleasant being cut off in conversations and unable to finish your thoughts. Or, it could be shouting at waiters for incorrect orders, a foul mouth or other poor behavior.
