Charles' Story
I didn't have time to date. At clubs I wasn't meeting the kind of girls I wanted to date. I used other online dating services but didn't have much luck. A friend mentioned Yahoo! Personals, so I gave it a try. I met Cherry and we chatted back and forth. Somehow we lost touch for several months but luckily we reconnected and started chatting again.
One month later, we had our first date. I'm in a bowling league and she met me there. I was nervous, but it wasn't awkward thanks to her. I was impressed because she came right up to me and introduced herself. She is a beautiful person, inside and out. Things moved quickly. Two weeks later, I pulled my profile. We just clicked. We can talk about anything. Once I met Cherry, I was done. She got me.

- Photos are so important. That initial attraction is what draws people in. Post several photos, to show different situations and moods. It gives people a better idea of who you are. It's more reassuring.
- Use clear, decent quality photos - and make sure they are recent, not from 10 years ago!
- Be patient don't rush. Take time to get to know someone online before meeting in person. We chatted online for several weeks before our first date.
- When you do meet, choose a safe, public place where there are other
people.
